La nueva entrenador, Conchita Martínez nominó a David Ferrer en la Copa Davis.
Pero parece un poco complicado.
El entrenador de David, Francisco Fogues dijo Punto de Break.
“El codo le molesta en gestos normales de la vida diaria”
“Tiene pocas opciones, está casi descartado para jugar en Rusia”
“David es seria duda para estos dos torneos”
Y David Ferrer explicó en los micrófonos de El Larguero.

“A día de hoy todavía no he podido coger la raqueta, no puedo.
Estoy con mi ‘fisio’ Rafa tratándome cada día, mañana y tarde, haciendo físico para no perder la forma y el jueves por la tarde o el viernes ya quiero probar a ver cómo estoy y ver si puedo estar, ya no en la Copa Davis, sino en la gira que viene”
“Yo esperaba estar mejor, te soy sincero. El jueves hablé con Conchita, el sábado volvimos a hablar y tenía confianza de lunes o martes tener más opciones de coger la raqueta y poder tocar la pelota. Llevo 3 semanas con esta lesión y prácticamente no he mejorado mucho. Cuando cojo una botella de agua me sigue doliendo, pues me enfada el no encontrar que se me vaya el dolor”
“Grandioso no, sinceramente no lo creo. Vengo de una gira que no he jugado partidos, en la que físicamente no he acabado desgastado.
Me duele el estar ahora así pero tampoco quiero adelantarme y decir si voy a estar o no.
Quiero estos dos días tratarme al máximo, intentar acelerar el proceso y ver si el viernes puedo pegar el revés o sacar.
Si no puedo pegar, no puedo competir. Y si no puedo competir lo que hago es perjudicar a mi equipo, a España”.
Ferrer tenía previsto probarse en una pista de tenis este sábado, pero la posibilidad de jugar en Rusia hará que coja la raqueta el jueves por la tarde.
La mayoría de las cosas importantes es la recuperacion de la lesion de él. Y siempre respetamos su opinion y estamos para apoyar de David!! Vamos Ferru!!!
