David couldn’t have played again in Heineken Open at Auckland.<\/p>\n

Ferrer: Auckland would have been too risky<\/strong>

After winning the tournament final in Doha last Saturday night, Ferrer made the decision to withdraw from the Heineken Open so he could rest ahead of playing potential five-setters for two weeks in Melbourne.
\nSaid,
\n“When I am playing two, three or four matches in one week, I am with problems. My lower back is a little bit inflamed,”
\n“I know I am 32 years old and it is more difficult to play everything, but this year is too much.
\n“I hope to be here next year because I’m so sorry for the fans and everybody.” <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

“I am positive. Always when I win a tournament I am with confidence, but Doha is past and I want to recover as soon as possible. It is only one tournament.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
